Our Christmas Card

Talk about procrastinating! I just now finished doing my christmas layout and christmas is less than a week away! Now, I just gotta get some current addresses and start sending them out! :)

It's beginning to look alot like Christmas!!

Ho, Ho, Ho!!! Happy Holidays everyone!! I'm sure by now, everyone is feeling a little "holiday-ish" and if you're not feeling it, something's wrong with you! hahaha I for one was feeling it today. After much work around the house, I decided to get the boys a little dress up so I can take more pictures! I love how it turned out! The kids did not want to take any pictures at all...however, the candy cane incentive made them feel a little better about posing for me :) Thanks to Rina Kroes QP, I am so done with my layouts :)

Christmas Layout for Grandma

It's been awhile since I have been in the mood to scrap anything...lately all the pictures have been sitting in my flashdrive! I decided to put up my tree earlier this year so that I could really enjoy its beauty! (I know...it's not even Thanksgiving yet and my tree is already up!) Once my tree was up, I was really in the mood. I had the boys dress up in the holiday outfits and busted out with my camera! From these pictures, the inspirations for this layout flowed. This will be one of their gifts to their grandparents! Hope they love it as much as I do! :)

ALOHA from OAHU

Aloha!! Although it was a fun-filled week of hanging out at the Waikiki Beach, Hanauma Bay, Polynesian Cultural Center, Hawaiian Water Adventures Park, Chinatown, and Aloha Stadium for the swap meet (yes, I said Swap Meet :P) just to name a few, we were all really happy to be sleeping in our own beds after last night! Last night had to be one of the most memorable event of our trip! We got to LAX at 9:28 pm last night and took the shuttle to our park/ride lot but somehow we ended up in the wrong lot across the street! We looked like a bunch of hobos hanging around the parking lot with all our belongings...looking lost, feeling parched and hungry! We spent 2 hours looking for our van and it was close to midnight when we finally found it (with the help of LA's finest) in the other lot across the street! It was good to finally be home!! Ahhh....but we will miss Hawaii! :P Mahalo!

New Shots

I just got my new Canon EOS 40d a few days ago and I am just ectastic about it!! There's so much to learn and I admit I am a bit overwhelmed with it all...coming from a point-an-shoot! I did manage to learn a couple new things like aperture and DOF! haha Here are my shots displaying the two!! I love my new camera! I onl wished I would have started sooner like everyone else!! :P Isn't my hand just stunning! hahaha

Wow, it's been awhile since I posted a layout! Guess I've just been super busy! Anyways, here they are!! Enjoy!
This layout is called "Vacation...All I Need..." I really do need a vacation and I just can't wait for Hawaii!! Yeahh!! This was created using Phuong Ton's Quirkytiki kit!

I remember these pictures like it was yesterday! Here we were at Baskin Robbins at Barstow. It was July 2005 and we were on our way to Vegas! Boy, was it a HOT day! Baskin Robbins was calling out to us! This was the first time Caleb had a fruit smoothie and he sure enjoyed it!! This kit was created using Phuong Ton's Slice of Summer!

This is a picture of DH Andrew and Caleb. In the first picture where they are popping out of the pockets, Caleb was about 6 months old. In the other picture, he's about 22 months. His daddy was getting ready to go on a business trip to Boston and this was taken the night before! This kit was created using Sweetmade's My Dad kit.

This one is called "CAPTURED" and it was created using the beautiful kit by Sweetmade called Christmas in July!
